MPC Ferrostaal IT Services GmbH is the internal service provider of the MPC Group and the Ferrostaal Group. We support our customers in over 40 countries with tailor-made solutions. We provide user services, application support and development of custom software as well as service in all information- and communication-technology related issues (ITK) for more than 2700 users.
This also includes the maintenance of the entire IT systems, the company's network and the telephone switchboard, thus the whole IT infrastructure.

The main goal of the 70 employees of MPC Ferrostaal IT Services is to create an IT work environment that is consistent, efficient and safe for all of its customers.

Within the responsibility of MPC Ferrostaal IT there are a variety of strategic and operative tasks. In particular MPC Ferrostaal IT is striving for maximum availability and stability of IT systems. Further key aspects are data backup, virus and spam protection as well as access security.

Other aspects are the installation, maintenance and handling of desktop computers, notebooks, printers, copying machines as well as mobile phones and Blackberries. The IT application support extends from the installation, maintenance and assistance of group-wide used software systems to their customizing and further development. Besides standard software such as accounting systems, ERP, CRM, DMS or CMS systems, customized, in-house developed applications are used.

Additionally MPC Ferrostaal IT provides access to a group-wide intranet and develops joint approaches for topics like compliance, data security, data privacy or control of sanction lists.
